Lonely rose

I shot this rose in my mother's garden a few weeks ago. It took a couple shots to get the lighting right because the sun was producing really hard light on the flower's petals, causing some seriously blown-out highlights. I'm still a little unhappy about the lighting, but it is at least satisfactory. I burned away some distracting background elements in PS CS3.
