There's not too much to say about this shot. I used a Vivitar 285hv flash at 1/16 power through a homemade soft box in my lap, camera left, triggered with a Cactus V2s trigger.
It took MANY tries to get the camera to focus on my eye, so that may explain the scowl on my face in this photo.
As you can probably guess, there was some photoshopping done to this shot, mainly in my eye to bring out the patterns. I just selected the eye area, increased the shadows and then burned the center to keep it dark.
